Lately there has been a real focus on engaging our existing customers, new customers and the media regarding the impending release of Incite Keystone. If your even the slightest bit self deprecating this a very hard thing to apply yourself too. If your a geek then it is very difficult to blow your own trumpet, you always have a nagging feeling your not the smartest guy in the room.
So when it comes to definitions are we SaaS (Software as a Service) are we Software + Service? Are we a Software Utility?
When you look at Incite Keystone and our other products we are certainly cloud-based and elastic. We exhibit most of what general consensus would define as Web 2.0. You don’t need any software installed within your enterprise to use our products. You don’t need to pay us maintenance or upgrade our software. You don’t need Extranets or Business Partner networks. You don’t need IT staff (as distinct from project staff).
All you need is a web browser, a project and Internet connectivity. Your project executes on our project collaboration platform.
That’s a much better definition.
